Transmit high-resolution graphics and HD or SD video signals plus full-duplex serial communications over CAT5, CAT5e, or CAT6 UTP cable to distances up to 1,500 feet (457m) with the ES2115.

The ES2115 allows you to extend the cable range of video and RGB signals while preserving the image quality. In addition, CAT5 cable is significantly cheaper than coax cable and is easier to terminate and install.

Transmitter and Receiver

The ES2115 includes a transmitter, receiver and external power supplies. The ES2115TX transmitter utilizes a single VGA style source input and provides a single VGA loop output for local video monitoring. The ES2115RX receiver provides dual buffered video outputs to simultaneously support two displays.

Serial Bi-directional Communication

Serial RS-232 support allows simultaneous, bi-directional transfer of data, for control of remote devices and communication with interactive displays. The RS-232 communication data is sent over the same single UTP wire used for video.

Image Quality Adjustments

Although the ES2115 is designed to function correctly ‘right out of the box’, extensive controls are provided to optimize the output quality. These include variable adjustments for signal gain and long distance cable compensation.

In addition, color timing for red, green and blue can be finely adjusted. The compensation adjustments can be locked to prevent accidental changes. Test patterns are supplied with the unit for installation and proper alignment.
