COMMANDER™ Control Software

COMMANDER™ is a software product used to control VECTOR™ and VISIONETWORK™. It may also be used independently of specialist hardware for less demanding display applications.

COMMANDER fits the needs of users of information displays in command and control room environments. Its simplicity allows easy manipulation of images on your video display. You design multiple window layouts or "scenes" by dragging and dropping source windows.

Once scenes are designed, they can be recalled via the Scene Control page. This control extends to touch screens and other control systems with which the display may need to interact.

COMMANDER's Source Set-up page allows for full custom input signal types, and pre-defined modes to make simple set-up as rapid as possible. This flexibility allows the system to be adapted to your evolving needs.

• RS-232 control of switchers and other peripherals
• remote scene selection via RS-232 or Ethernet
• administrator-defined security levels
• compatible with Windows® XP, NT and 2000

CT-COMMANDER is included with the VECTOR card cage.

VN-COMMANDER is an option that may be purchased with VISIONETWORK processors such as VN-2400 and VN-QUANTUM.
