Environmental Policy

Electrosonic designs, manufactures, installs, services and supports advanced media solutions to meet the needs of its clients.

In the pursuit of our mission to provide world class audio visual systems, Electrosonic recognises and accepts that its business activities, products and services impact on the environment. It is committed to continually improve it’s environmental performance and to the prevention of pollution.

In accordance with relevant legislation and with other requirements to which we subscribe, Electrosonic seeks to minimise the potentially harmful effects of it’s environmental aspects wherever and whenever possible.

In line with this promise, Electrosonic will develop and continue to improve it’s environmental policy which will be used as a framework for establishing and reviewing measurable environmental objectives and targets.

It is the responsibility of all employees, visitors and contractors to fully support this policy through their active participation and co-operation.

This Environmental policy will be continually reviewed and updated.

In particular Electrosonic will:

  • Establish and maintain an Environmental Management System that complies with the requirements of ISO14001.
  • Continually assess the environmental impact of it’s operations and, through minimising the use of it’s materials and resources, will seek to reduce it’s wastage to the lowest practical level.
  • Minimise the environmental effect of new developments and include environmental considerations in all investment decisions.
  • Promote recycling and the use of recycled materials, while reducing consumption of materials wherever possible.
  • Include environmental issues in training programmes and encourage the implementation by all employees of good environmental practices.
  • Design and implement its products and services in such a way as to minimise it’s impact on the environment.
  • Monitor progress and publish an environmental performance report on an annual basis.
  • Meet, and where appropriate, exceed the requirements of the relevant legislation.
