ESCAN™ is a control area network software application that allows local and remote control of all audio-visual assets via a LAN or the Internet. As well as control, ESCAN monitors devices for status or fault information, providing full remote diagnostics capability.

ESCAN treats media presentation systems more as a multi-channel broadcast system than a series of "canned" presentations. The requirement for on-site technical resources is lowered as status can be monitored from any location.

ESCAN's tidy interface allows easy access to the power of this versatile network controller. Control of systems that need to be synchronized by timecode are fully supported.

Compatibility with a wide range of controlled devices includes HD playback solutions and FrEND network controllers.
