HD FrEND plus is a cost effective, and compact solution that supports ATSC-compliant formats, HDV, and MPEG2, in resolutions of 1920 x 1080i, 1280 x 720p, and 720x576/480p, and it can be deployed as economically as Standard Definition (SD) video.

Utilizing a 10/100 Base T Ethernet network infrastructure, the HD FrEND plus is an intelligent device that can live anywhere on the network providing high performance, manageability and efficiency. Media content can originate from a remote location, such as a Network Operations Center serving hundreds of networked HD media displays.

When used in conjunction with the Electrosonic ESCAN AV Automation software, HD FrEND plus becomes one of the most powerful digital signage solutions on the market. It can be triggered to play out HD video as part of an elaborate multimedia show, and even operate in sync with lighting, music, and environmental effects.
