The new Tom Bradley International Terminal at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) offers passengers a unique travel experience with its Integrated Environmental Media System (IEMS), a series of seven digital media features integrated into the interior architecture. Electrosonic was tasked by Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) with the engineering and system integration of the IEMS components, and the build out of the IEMS control room.

Space Shuttle Atlantis at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex near Orlando unveiled a space exploration attraction, Space Shuttle AtlantisSM, at what is now the new home of the historic spacecraft. The 90,000-square foot facility includes multimedia presentations that feature more than 60 interactive exhibits and AV simulators that provide a look at the 33 missions of Atlantis. Working with operators Delaware North Companies Parks & Resorts and design firm PGAV Destinations, Electrosonic provided AV design consulting, integration and installation.

Eaton, a power management company that provides energy-efficient solutions, opened a new campus in Cleveland, Ohio, which includes cutting-edge AV technology to communicate its values and its leading position in power management end markets to employees, customers, suppliers, business partners and political leaders. Electrosonic was charged with designing the AV systems, media control and power management for the Eaton Experience Center.

The Heineken Experience at the Heineken Brewery

A new Heineken Experience opened at the historic Heineken Brewery in Amsterdam at the beginning of December 2008. Designed and produced by BRC Imagination Arts, the re-designed visitor experience makes extensive use of specially produced high definition video programmes. Electrosonic’s UK office was appointed by BRC, www.brcweb.com, as its principal sub-contractor for audio-visual systems integration.

The Crystal is a sustainable cities initiative by Siemens, the global electronics and electrical engineering powerhouse. Located at London’s Royal Victoria Dock, the 21,500-square foot interactive exhibition serves as home to Siemens’ Center of Competence – Cities, a team of multi-disciplinary urban experts, and guides visitors through the urban infrastructure of the future by examining the possibilities for sustainable mobility, building technologies, power and water supplies, and healthcare. Designed and produced by Event Communications, the exhibition features extensive audio-visual systems engineered and installed by Electrosonic.

Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s Visitor Center

The Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s (BBG) new Visitor Center is located in an energy-efficient structure where visitors can access an array of interactive exhibits to learn about current blooms and plantings, view the garden map and browse the event schedule. Electrosonic provided the audio-visual systems, which included large LCD displays, interactive monitors and flexible AV components that can be easily maintained by BBG staff as the exhibit content is updated.

Scottish Government’s Media Centre

Electrosonic has successfully upgraded some of the key audio-visual components in the Scottish Government’s Media Centre. Located within St. Andrew’s House in Edinburgh, the Media Centre serves as the site where journalists are often briefed on Government news announcements.
