Electrosonic’s AV Expertise Honored In 2012 Event Design Awards-Winning Project

2012 Event Design Awards

Electrosonic's AV accomplishment at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences’ Nature Research Center (NRC) has been recognized with a 'Silver Winner' Award for Best Museum Environment at the 2012 Event Design Awards. Working closely with Andrew Merriell & Associates, Maltbie, Batwin + Robin, Sosolimited, and Hypersonic, Electrosonic enhanced the visitor experience at NRC with an array of unique interactive exhibits and experiences featuring audio-visual systems. The most impressive of which is the SECU Daily Planet, a globe-shaped structure cantilevered onto the building and spanning the three-story wing; the Daily Planet is an immersive multimedia theater with a 40x40-foot high-definition screen, which offers a massive visual canvas to visitors on all three floors.

Presented by Event Design, the Event Design Awards recognize the best among this industry’s change agents. The chosen award-winning projects reflect how the world’s best creative studios are reinventing experience design across all categories.
