Business Warranty

Electrosonic Ltd. warrants that, whilst in normal use, all products and systems manufactured by Electrosonic will be free from manufacturing defect for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty includes both parts and labour. Electrosonic’s warranty in respect to equipment not manufactured but supplied by Electrosonic is limited to that supplied by the manufacturer.

Costs of carriage to and from the place of repair (typically Electrosonic’s workshop at Hawley Mill) will not be covered within the standard warranty. Any item returned for repair should be accompanied with a detailed fault description, details of its purchase and return address.

Where a product is used incorporated within a system, Electrosonic reserves the right to charge for a Field Service Engineer to attend site, investigate the fault and to remove the item for repair.

Products that have physical damage, show signs of misuse or have not been used in respect of the manufacturers operating guidelines will not be covered under the company’s warranty. This includes accidental damage (such as phosphor burn on CRTs). Electrosonic Ltd. cannot be held responsible for consequential or other losses caused by the failure or breakdown of products or systems supplied either within or without a warranty.

This warranty does not affect the purchaser’s rights under the Sale of Goods Act or other legislation currently in force.
