Auditorium 6 of the Mann Chinese 6 Theatre in the Hollywood and Highland complex is experiencing unparalleled 3D sound thanks to a cutting-edge, 380-channel IOSONO audio system installed by Electrosonic. Mann Chinese 6 is adjacent to the famed Grauman’s Chinese Theatre which is also a Mann property. The Mann Chinese 6 project marks the second IOSONO installation Electrosonic has performed. Earlier, Electrosonic installed a 308.5-channel system at the Peltz Theater in the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles, the first such IOSONO system in the US. |

Electrosonic was a member of the production team, and engineered a novel high definition projection system that features in the finale. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: The Ride (designed and produced by Tussauds Studios) takes families on an unforgettable adventure into the heart of Willie Wonka’s wondrous chocolate factory. It is based on the classic Roald Dahl book and the original Quentin Blake illustrations. |

Hilversum is the major center of broadcast media production in Holland. Its Media Park is now home to the Nederlands Instituut voor Beeld en Geluid. Beeld en Geluid looks after 70% of the Dutch Audio-Visual heritage, comprising 700,000 hours of material. The building contains the archive in an underground vault; above ground, research facilities and public areas are housed in a huge cube decorated with striking images. |

Housed in the atrium of a new wing of the casino at the Wynn Hotel & Casino, the Tree of Prosperity show begins when music starts playing. Soon, a 65-feet wide ceiling iris, with the Chinese horoscope sculpted on it, opens to reveal an LED display of abstract video. The action then shifts to the ground floor where a copper dome, with the Western horoscope sculpted on it, opens and a 65-feet tall golden tree rises from a vault below the floor. The magical tree rotates to the music until the show ends and all the mechanical elements return to their home positions. |

Ashes and Snow is an exhibition of photographic artworks by Canadian photographer and filmmaker Gregory Colbert. The exhibition debuted in 2002 in Venice, Italy; it consists of more than 100 large-scale photographic artworks, one 60-minute film and two 9-minute films exploring the natural interaction between man and other animals in their own environments and on their own terms. Colbert’s images attempt to recover a lost time when man and other animals shared a common language. |
