The Parlamentarium in Brussels is the first visitors’ centre fully accessible in 23 languages, and uses a variety of interactive multimedia exhibits to take visitors on a unique journey into the heart of the European Parliament and the European Union (EU). Electrosonic provided the main exhibition audio-visual systems for Stuttgart-based designer ATELIER BRÜCKNER, who ingeniously fitted the exhibition into a space originally designed to be an underground car park.

Hitler Letter Exhibit at the Museum of Tolerance

The Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles acquired an early letter written by Adolf Hitler calling for the elimination of the Jewish people. Written in September 1919, the only document personally signed by Hitler calls for “an anti-Semitism based on reason…[whose]…final aim, however must be the uncompromising removal of the Jews altogether.” Electrosonic created an interactive exhibit to present this letter, which is considered one of most important archival documents in the history of the Second World War.

New-York Historical Society Museum & Library

The New-York Historical Society Museum & Library, which explores the political, cultural and social history of New York, underwent a three-year, $70-million renovation that now features a new 3,400-square-foot space. Electrosonic provided the audio, video and control systems for the renovation of the city’s oldest museum. Platt Byard Dovell White Architects and Lee H. Skolnick Architecture + Design Partnership were the design team on the project.

University of Salford’s New MediaCityUK Development

The University of Salford recently opened a new digital learning and research space at its MediaCityUK development in Salford Quays. This space features a flexible audio-visual system that can be customised and used in creative ways to educate and entertain students and visitors. The original technical design was prepared by The Centre for Virtual Environments at the University of Salford, and Electrosonic engineered and installed the complete system.

Visitors flocking to the Information & Communications Pavilion at Expo 2010 Shanghai China got a taste of cutting-edge information and communication technologies (ICT) to come when they toured the attraction presented by China Mobile and China Telecom.  BRC Imagination Arts was the creator and producer for the world’s first Multi-Dimensional Interactive Network pavilion.

China State Shipbuilding Pavilion at Expo 2010

Its arc structure resembling the keel of a ship, the China State Shipbuilding Pavilion at Expo 2010 Shanghai China showcases the nation’s time-honored history of shipbuilding and is one of the few pavilions that will remain as a museum after the Expo concludes. Electrosonic provided the extensive audio, video and show-control systems for the pavilion that enable visitors to explore the role of shipping in China’s past, investigate exciting concepts for future floating cities and farms, and simulate navigation. Electrosonic was challenged to deliver multi-image and edge-blended displays onto unusual surfaces; and furnish immersive interactive experiences for visitors.

The Hong Kong Wetlands

Tin Shui Wai, Hong Kong

The Hong Kong Wetlands Park occupies 61Ha (150 acres) next to Tin Shui Wai, a new town in the New Territories of Hong Kong. It is alongside Deep Bay on an important bird migration route, but while birds are a major element of the park, the overall focus is broader, looking at the importance of wetlands for mankind and wildlife. Electrosonic engineered the principal AV and computer interactive systems, under sub-contract to Beck Interiors, the main exhibition contractor.

Nokia Flagship Stores

Nokia has opened flagship stores in Moscow, Helsinki, New York, Chicago, Hong Kong and Mexico City. These are exciting places in which to socialize and to handle the latest Nokia products. They make stimulating use of sound, lighting, streamed video and interactive techniques. Electrosonic was responsible for the AV integration, and service support for the completed installations.

Cadbury World

Cadbury World, located in Birmingham, is one of the UK’s leading visitor attractions. Its irresistible chocolate theme is so popular that at most times of the year it is essential to book your visit. Cadbury World is continually being developed and improved, and recently it opened a new interactive attraction, “The Purple Planet,” that has proved hugely popular with the public.
