Jodrell Bank, home of the famous Lovell radio telescope, opened its new exhibition in April 2011 after upgrading its visitor facilities with the addition of two pavilions: the Planet Pavilion and the Space Pavilion. The pavilions house exhibitions on astronomy and the work of Jodrell Bank. The audio-visual and interactive elements of the exhibits were installed by Electrosonic under subcontract to the Moule Partnership.

Exploration Space, the first attraction at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex to examine the future of space exploration, combines live theater, interactive exhibits and new media components to engage and inform audiences about the next 20 years in space exploration. Electrosonic provided the AV systems for the exhibit designed by BRC Imagination Arts, Inc. in collaboration with Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. The Electrosonic team designed, integrated, programmed and installed the exhibit’s entire AV system, including projection, audio, video and show control.

USA Pavilion

Attracting over seven million visitors during its six months of operation, the USA Pavilion at Expo 2010 Shanghai China delivered its Rise to the Challenge theme in a series of Hollywood-style, multi-dimensional presentations that told the story of the American spirit of perseverance, innovation and community building.

Visitors to the National World War II Museum in New Orleans are moved and excited by its unique new immersive film attraction, “Beyond All Boundaries,” which not only tells the story of the “war that changed the world” but also breaks boundaries of its own in 4D cinema experiences.  Electrosonic was responsible for the design and integration of the Audio Visual and show control system for what Tom Brokaw called “the most significant cinematic piece on World War II.”

Electrosonic at the Scotch Whisky Experience

Edinburgh - Scotland

The Scotch Whisky Experience, sited right next to Edinburgh Castle, opened for business in 1988. During the winter of 2008-2009 the visitor attraction was completely revamped and the “new” experience opened in May 2009. Electrosonic completed the AV installation for the attraction, which included synchronised lighting, sound and video for a dark ride.

Gettysburg National Military Park

The new Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center orients visitors to the park, features exhibits that place the Battle of Gettysburg in the larger context of American history, preserves the park’s massive collection of Civil War and Gettysburg artifacts, and showcases the famous, historic Cyclorama painting.

Nokia Flagship Stores


Nokia has opened flagship stores in Moscow, Helsinki, New York, Chicago, Hong Kong and Mexico City. These are exciting places in which to socialize and to handle the latest Nokia products. They make stimulating use of sound, lighting, streamed video and interactive techniques. Electrosonic was responsible for the AV integration, and service support for the completed installations.

The Science of Survival Exhibition Crosses the Pond

The Science of Survival is a thought-provoking exhibition that makes imaginative use of interactive techniques. It was considered so important that two identical exhibitions were built in the United Kingdom and United States. While both were designed in London, construction was carried out simultaneously in the UK and USA. Electrosonic Ltd (UK) designed the AV system and built the AV system for the UK based exhibition, which first appeared at London’s Science Museum; while Electrosonic Inc (USA) built and installed the AV System for the USA based exhibition, with its first appearance at the Liberty Science Center in Jersey City, NJ.

Wynn Macau Hotel and Casino

Housed in the atrium of a new wing of the casino at the Wynn Hotel & Casino, the Tree of Prosperity show begins when music starts playing. Soon, a 65-feet wide ceiling iris, with the Chinese horoscope sculpted on it, opens to reveal an LED display of abstract video. The action then shifts to the ground floor where a copper dome, with the Western horoscope sculpted on it, opens and a 65-feet tall golden tree rises from a vault below the floor. The magical tree rotates to the music until the show ends and all the mechanical elements return to their home positions.

Electrosonic Oy Ab of Helsinki, Finland has a long history of providing lighting control and AV systems to the Cruise Liner industry. One of its major customers is Royal Caribbean International.
