The latest addition to the VECTOR input card range, the ES5961 is designed to process video and graphics images at resolutions up to UXGA (1600 x 1200) and HDTV (1920 x 1080I).

Each card takes a single source. Both analog and digital sources are supported through a choice of separate connector cards, which are used in conjunction with the main ES5961 processing card. Choose the ES5961/CA for analog source types or the ES5961/CD for digital video or graphics.

All sources maintain a refresh rate of 50 or 60Hz through the system, depending on the output settings, more than enough for the most demanding simulation graphics. It is also possible to synchronize the displays to one of these inputs.

The card has a high performance convolver scaling engine that supports full real time zooming and panning, and maintaining picture details down to remarkably small sizes. It does this using Electrosonic patented image scaling technology that dispenses with the cost-compromised FIR-type scaling found in many products.
