VECTOR™ effects capability

VECTOR is able to perform a number of videowall effects, useful for scene transitions or adding impact to a large screen display presentation.

VECTOR supports sizing and positioning of image windows free from the boundaries of each display device, and free from the limits of the wall. Each image window may be zoomed, panned or moved, with anamorphic stretches while maintaining full real-time update.

Windows may be frozen. They may be overlapped. A color wash can be applied. A dynamically changing color wash may be applied. Fading to and from black is also supported.

The logo store may be used to store bitmapped backdrops or textures.

One of the first decision to make when using VECTOR for effects is to decide whether they need to be synchronized to the source content. If so, timecode should be used, and C-THROUGH™ selected as the control software. C-THROUGH is also the best choice if complex effects sequences or creative display device layouts are to be used (see Pontiac image).

For more straightforward transition-type effects not synchronized to source content, PRESENTER™ provides a simplified scene-based interface.

Both C-THROUGH and PRESENTER can be triggered from other controllers, such as live event lighting desks, button panels and touch screens.
