Electrosonic EMEA Strengthens Security Standards with ISO 27001 Certification

London (July 2017) – Electrosonic, a global audio-visual systems integration and service solutions company is proud to be certified to the internationally recognised standard ISO 27001. The implementation of the standard demonstrates Electrosonic’s commitment to the protection of their clients’ and partners’ business data. The achievement follows an independent assessment conducted by leading verification and certification body NQA.

The international ISO 27001 standard adheres to a set of proven procedures that requires a stringent alignment of business and IT processes which strengthens the security of information infrastructure, and ensures the availability, integrity and confidentiality of client data.

Information security is one of the central concerns of modern organisations. The main drivers for security are globalisation, government directives, regulatory requirements, terrorist activities and escalating cyber threats. The certification demonstrates that Electrosonic has defined and committed to implementing best-practice information security processes to meet the obligations of our customers and business partners.

Electrosonic was presented with their ISO27001 certificate by Nick Wright NQA Operations Directors on Monday 24th July, 2017 at their UK headquarters in Dartford, Kent.

Besides the recent ISO 27001 accreditation, Electrosonic hold the following ISO standards: Environmental Management System BS EN ISO14001, Quality Management System and Occupational BS EN ISO9001, Health and Safety Management System OHSAS 18001.
