Overcoming challenges to restore seamless functionality.
Electrosonic was tasked with overcoming a set of technical challenges that impacted the usability of the meeting rooms. The first issue involved compatibility between HDMI extenders and the HDMI input. Additionally, staff who joined calls while near the meeting rooms were unable to see content on their individual laptops.
To address the HDMI issue, Electrosonic conducted a thorough assessment of the setup and discovered the extent of the extenders' usefulness. Replacing it with a long HDMI cable not only resolved the compatibility problem but also simplified the system.
The user issue identified as a feature of Microsoft Teams. When a user is detected in proximity to a Teams Room via Bluetooth, the system assumes they are in the room and routes the content to the main display rather than the user’s device. Understanding the cause allowed us to resolve the problem quickly by visiting the site and altering the feature within the Teams Room App settings.
Through analyzing each challenge and implementing targeted solutions, Electrosonics simplified the setup and restore full functionality, ensuring a seamless and intuitive experience for all users.
