Electrosonic played a key role in transforming the central walkway of Google’s Gradient Canopy into an immersive art-driven environment through the integration of audiovisual technology. By incorporating audiovisual elements into existing architecture, the technology feels like a natural extension of the environment. Previously underutilized space is now a visually compelling focal point that celebrates artists and their work. This art exhibit is referred to as Gradient Canvas and it features thirteen artworks from multidisciplinary artists that probe the co-evolving relationships between people, nature and machines.
Electrosonic brought the office to life with the integration of AV technology displaying static and dynamic AI art through installation of six LED video walls. Expansive digital displays, reflective visual effects, interactive moments and relaxing media-rich spaces come together to create a fluid sense of discovery. These installations guide people through the space with creativity and energy, turning an office walkway into an inspiring encounter with AV technology and design.

Electrosonic was brought on board working with Charcoal Blue with a history of incorporating audiovisual technology in physical spaces such as the recent renovation of Google St John’s Terminal.

Electrosonic worked closely with Unilumin and Charcoal Blue to build and integrate an audiovisual solution that would meet Google’s creative and technical goals. Rather than introducing entirely new art spaces, the experience is thoughtfully woven into the existing architecture of the office, using its alcoves and structural features as opportunities for creative expression. This approach enabled Electrosonic to seamlessly integrate technology with architecture while making the art native to the environment, enhancing the space without disrupting its original flow.
What was once a two-story elevator shaft is transformed into a striking atrium, with video walls spanning two sides and showcasing immersive digital art. The installation highlights Google’s latest AI innovations, using an accompanying kiosk that provides insight into the artwork displayed across the space. This exhibition of technology was made possible through Electrosonic’s thorough designing system integration and detailed build work.

Walking into Google, employees are met with dynamic visuals that line the walls of the walkway. The first artwork installation is Pollinator Pathmaker: 6nvKvSPnBEEFa6vTqwXJaZ by Alexandra Daisy Ginsberg. A massive LED video wall with the edges surrounded by mirrors that make the artwork appear endless. It is a unique space that plays with the mind of viewers while displaying beautiful art.

Sasha Stiles’s exhibit is in a relaxing lounge area with chairs, pillows and desks. The installation features a mosaic layout wall that has multiple LED video wall cabinets integrated into the scenic. The walls are accompanied by surrounding literary pieces, adding to the coziness of the space.
The walkway comes to life through a series of AV-enhanced installations that transform the journey into an immersive experience.
Rotating Installations uses three LCD landscape displays to create shifting scenic movements, complemented by tables to invite guests to pause and take it in. The Trevor Paglen installation incorporates an LED video wall, blending digital art seamlessly into the architectural space. At the Rashaad Newsome installation of an LED wall responds to people’s movement through integrated sensors, allowing dynamic content to shift and react in real time.
Together, these elements turn a simple hallway into a destination inspiring curiosity, connection and a deeper appreciation for the power of experiential design.
